More Poetry Events In Nigeria Coming Soon

In less than 16 hours more, the city of Port Harcourt would make welcome a number of the finest poets, singers, actors, dancers and spoken word poets from around the world.
Join them by air, train, and/or bus- anyhow just join.

In two days, awards would be given, lectures delivered, workshops would be held, Artworks would be exhibited, Poetry would be spoken and music would be performed.

If you have and love a woman in your life, you should find your way down to Akwa Ibom to join page poets, spoken word poets, comedians, actors and other art lovers as they gather together to lend their voices to silent tears and empower them to speak for their selves on Saturday the 28th of this month.

It is organized to commemorate International Day for the Elimination of violence against Women coming up some three days before the event.
